Adin, it is such a privilege and honor to be able to serve the Lord with you. I believe it’s because of the great leadership we submit ourselves under, which makes people want to excel in life.

Thank you for the opportunity to be able to be part of such a awesome team as well as being a good friend. May God bless you and our ministry to be able to make the difference in people’s lives by using us to teaching them at least one skill.

Praise the Lord for He is good…

Thanks Louis. I have had the same concerns. But I have read a book by Terry Virgo and now listening to Joseph Prince, who have convinced me of this. What was the point of Jesus death if sheep and goats covered the sin if the Israelites for a year, when we think our sins aren’t covered if we sin for a day? Paul asks after explaining the Gospel to Jews if we should just go on sinning, implying that the truth about Jesus gives that sort of freedom. But a true revelation of Grace transforms us and removes sin from our lives. Law and religion will tell you this is sin and that is sin I.e. Sin focussed. But Grace (Jesus) will tell you, Jesus loves you. As we meditate on his love we cannot go on sinning and remember that our new condition is complete freedom from sin. It has NO hold on you!

I tend to agree with you on some valid points in your post. Yet I’d like to challenge one point of view – should we not show some type of remorse towards God for the sins we do?

The Holy Spirit is our conscience and convinces us of what’s right and wrong, and I’m sure He does that for a purpose certainly? Following that logic we can’t simply accept no responsibility for our behavior simply because we are ultimately justified under the Blood.

I’m not criticizing your views in the least, as this exact issue has been a bone of contention in my spiritual journey and I would like to have a constructive conversation about it.

Hey hey!

Thanks for the post. I have some other ideas on this that I’d love to have a conversations about and see what you and others think. It is actually more for the other side of the looking glass… hee hee.

I just need to put my scribblings in order… more to follow.
